Microsoft Windows Optimization Tools

Almost all Microsoft Windows users experience their OS runs slower and slower compare to the day 1 "freshness" right before the installation. Along the way, Windows build up unused files, registry entries (especially installation and uninstall of software), temporary files, fragmentation and etc.

From my years of experiences, I used these 3 free of charge tools to optimize my laptop and so far they work great.
  1. CCleaner
It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. I select almost all options in the Cleaner's Windows and Applications section:

  2. WinASO RegDefrag
Windows Registry never shrinks even when its data is removed. Over time, the bloated registry with lots of registry holes will slow down system boot speed and affect computer performance.
WinASO RegDefrag can compact and defragment your registry to remove the registry holes and optimize the registry structure. As a result, it will boost system speed and performance as a whole.
Select Full defragmentation to have the best improvement, take note a reboot is required.

  3. Auslogics Disk Defrag
It will improve your PC's performance by defragmenting and re-arranging files on your disk.

Malaysia Specialty: Malaysia BOLEH!

Malaysia Boleh a phase often used to provoke Malaysian to believe Malaysia and Malaysian are the best. BUT in actual fact are we the best or is there anything we can be proud of?

Look at the pictures below and decide yourself. Leave a comment to express yourself.

Link Amazon Affiliate to Blog

I had Google-ed for hours to find way to link Amazon Associate to Blogger, but couldn't find any useful information. After a few hours of try, finally I manage to "derive" myself the easiest matter.

Here are the steps:
1. Sign In to your Amazon Associates account. Then click on Widgets menu bar.
2. Click on the Widget type you want to build, follow the instructions to get the HTML code. Example:

3. Sign In to your Blogger account, edit the Layout to add a HTML/JavaScript Gadget. Copy and Paste the HTML code into the Content. Remember to give a Title for it. Example:

Honda Civic 2013 (US Version)

Honda Civic used to be a legendary C segment car, the introduction of 9th generation Civic had removed its crown and created tones of criticism. To restore its dignity, Honda "revamped" the 9th generation Civic after merely a year of introduction.

Well, I'm not a professional car journalist, everything I shared here sourced from Internet and Facebook which I have read and share out the gist of it.

The detail explanation of changes on the "revamped" Civic from Hola Arkansas. The photo galleries from Paul Tan and Autoblog will give a good sneak peek on the car.

Here are the 2 pictures I get from Facebook, clearly show the exterior differences between them.

Surprisingly review of the car has been published as well, you (especially Malaysian) have to admire the efficiency of US people on how they work thing out.

The review from AutoGuide and Consumer Reports, who give "Not Recommended" rating for 2012 Honda Civic, interestingly they find the Civic 2013 is better.

Personally I like the 2013 Honda Civic and wish it to come to Malaysia soon, it is interesting to see how well it compares to Kia K3.
